Function

Carries ink between the damper, cap head and pump. A correctly sized tube with a secure grip on the connector maintains suction at the cap and keeps air out of the ink path during cleaning cycles.

Maintenance Note

Replacement cap heads are supplied without tubing, and re-using old tubes on a new cap head may result in:

• Tubes slipping off the connector under suction
• Air drawn into the ink line, causing nozzle drop-out
• Ink leaking into the maintenance station
• Weak or inconsistent cleaning cycles
